PLANTS + GARDENS

• Monitor all plant material to ensure good plant health.
• Maintain all garden beds through regular bed grooming, weeding and deadheading, as well as light pruning of small trees and shrubs throughout the season.
• Dispose of all debris and dead plant material.
• Lightly cultivate plant beds and tree wells.
• Edge beds evenly to maintain original line and shape.
• Maintain weed-free beds and tree wells.
• Top-up soil where settling has occurred.
• Distribute mulch or top-up mulch to maintain original depth.
• Re-cover any exposed landscape fabric or filter cloth.
• Check moisture levels to ensure the irrigation system is operating and distributing water sufficiently.

PRUNING

• Consult pruning standards for thorough specifications based on plant material and species.
• Prune plant material to natural structure to ensure healthy growth.

• Lightly cultivate plant beds, re-cut bed edges.
• Add mulch to garden beds or topdressing of lawns.

FALL CLEANUP

The long days of summer are coming to an end. Our crew has provided lawn care and maintenance for the past season (meaning no weekly work for you) and now it's time to put that garden to bed and get it ready for the winter. Our team will:

• Rake and remove leaves from lawn and garden beds.
• Remove and dispose of annuals from plant beds and pots after first deadly frost.
• Cultivate plant beds after removing annuals.
• Apply organic mulch to plant areas that require extra winter protection.
• Apply burlap, animal + other winter protection to plant materials and trees as requested.
