The client wanted a sleek, resort-like modern home that had Italian / Mediterranean influences. Strong lines, symmetry, and splashes of colour were the recurring themes.
We collaborated with our client from the early stages of the house design and throughout construction. This allowed us to adapt the landscape design as new ideas arose or concerns emerged during the building process. One such idea was to repurpose the wood from a chestnut tree that had to be removed; we used it to create a large outdoor dining table, which turned out beautifully.
Creating privacy from the road was a challenge. Layered plantings of trees and shrubs created privacy without building a solid wall along the property front.
Continuing to be a part of this garden's growth by maintaining it is most rewarding!
"The end result has been tremendous. I love our finished product. I love our yard, and I really feel that this is a stunning piece of art."
